Speaking about Justification, we consider the “once for all” nature of Christ’s redemptive work on the cross. In fact, Paul parallels the work of Christ with the transgression of Adam, as both acted as a Federal Head on behalf of their people. Christ, the last Adam, brought salvation to the elect of God.
Following our sermon last week on the subject of suffering, we return to Romans chapter 8 and Paul’s solution to all our sorrows: the bedrock principles of salvation by grace!
