The health of a church or even a region of churches is never static. That is, spiritual health can wax and wane. Churches go through periods of revival and also periods of coldness. When we survey the landscape of our church and the trend is to bury more than we baptize, or to close more churches than we constitute, it should cause us to stop and assess our behavior. Have we grown cold? Are we distracted? As the prophet Haggai exhorted, we should "consider our ways!"
In this broadcast, Pastor Winslett considers spiritual indifference and the chastening which occurs as a result, and also the first steps towards revival.
