When Jesus first approached Peter and his brother Andrew to be among His first disciples, they were professional fishermen. His first words to them, were "follow me, and I will make you fishers of men." From that time forward, their lives were to be devoted to fishing, but rather than catching fish, they were to catch men. Jesus reminded Peter of this after His resurrection, by asking Peter if he loved Christ more than he loved his profession. If so, Jesus said, "feed my sheep!"
Do we feel an urgency today to fish for men? If not, something is amiss and we need to seek repentance. In this broadcast, pastor Winslett shares some insight into evangelism, fishing for men.
