In the New Testament Church, the Lord Jesus has given us two ordinances to be kept by the church until His return: Baptism and The Lord’s Supper (or Communion). Both of these ordinances show His death in a powerful way. At the same time, the keeping of these grant a closeness to God and dispensation of grace to the participant.
