Avoiding the Mob!

Throughout the last decade and in particular, over the past 12 months, we’ve seen mob violence in America. Did you know there are several examples of mobs in the Bible in both the Old and New Testaments? In each occurrence, a group of emotionally charged people came together in a fog of confusion, ultimately leading to sin. In no case was a mob a place where a believer ought to have been!

His Story, Part 1

While we’re naturally self-centered individuals, it’s so helpful and encouraging for us to remember human history is HIS-Story, that is to say, Christ’s story. From the Old Testament, we look at several “theophanies,” or preincarnate manifestations of Christ to His people in moments of affliction and judgment, reminding us that though the times and the people change, He remains the same.
