While some wept over its humble foundation, the prophet Haggai foretold something far greater—that the Lord Himself would come to His temple.
Through Scripture and history, we trace how Christ’s physical presence fulfilled this prophecy, ultimately leading us to consider the spiritual temple of today: the New Testament Church. If Jesus brought glory to the second temple by visiting it, what does it mean that He dwells in His church today by the Spirit?
