Defining Worship | Compelled to Worship, Part 1

Have you ever stopped and asked yourself what truly compels us to worship God? In this edition of Words of Grace, Pastor Ben Winslett begins a two-part message on the subject of worship.

Drawing from both Old and New Testaments, we explore the rich meaning of worship—bowing before the Lord, serving Him, and revering His name. Scripture shows us that worship is never random or empty ritual, but a heartfelt response to encounters with the living God.

Join us as we look at the biblical foundation of worship and consider what it means to approach God in humility, reverence, and service.

The Fear of God

Fearing God is a concept spanning the entirety of scripture. In both the Old and New Testaments, those who know God are “God fearing” people, whereas there is “no fear of God” before the eyes of the unregenerate. Moreover, this reverence of God is the basis for all we believe and do in our personal lives. Join Ben Winslett for this study of a most elementary but needful subject.
