The Divine Perspective of Repentance

On this episode of Words of Grace, we consider The Divine Perspective of Repentance from Luke chapter 15. Using the well-known parable of the Prodigal Son, this message looks beyond repentance as merely a human act and focuses instead on God’s response when His children return to Him.

Jesus’ parables of the lost sheep, the lost coin, and finally the lost son reveal a consistent truth: the value is placed by the owner, the recovery is initiated by the owner, and the rejoicing belongs to the owner. Whether repentance follows a dramatic fall, a “respectable” sin, or a slow spiritual drift, heaven responds with joy when sinners repent.

This broadcast reminds us that the Father’s house is still open, His mercy is real, and His grace is greater than our sin!

Biblical Beauty

In our most recent edition of Words of Grace, Pastor Benjamin Winslett addresses the subject of physical beauty through the lens of Scripture. While the Bible clearly acknowledges physical attractiveness (Sarah, Rebekah, David, etc.), it also warns against making beauty an idol. True beauty, as God’s word teaches, is found not in outward appearance but in the beauty of holiness. From biblical modesty to the fleeting nature of physical appeal, this sermon calls believers to focus on what truly matters: the heart, godliness, and a life that reflects Christ. Join us for this important and timely reflection on Biblical Beauty.
