A Blessing To Those Who Mourn

In this broken world, mourning is a reality for all people. Addressing that, Jesus said in the Sermon on the Mount, “Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.”

In this week’s episode of Words of Grace, we continue our study of the Sermon on the Mount by exploring Jesus’ statement: Blessed are they that mourn, for they shall be comforted. What kind of mourning does Jesus mean? Who shall be comforted? How does the gospel bring comfort to those who grieve? Join us as we examine how God’s promises bring peace to the sorrowful, both in this life and in eternity.
