We think of justice and mercy as mutually exclusive concepts. And in many ways, these two concepts can be. In this broadcast, we consider the place of both of these in society and also where they met in the purpose of God on our behalf.

A Little Leaven

When we sin, we bring reproach upon the cause of Christ. One proverbial phrase that scripture uses to warn against allowing sin to take root in our lives is “a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.” This warning is given with reference to sinful living and also false doctrine. In this radio program, we explore some of the scriptural uses of leaven as a metaphor for sin or error.

Go And Make Disciples
