The Divine Perspective of Repentance

On this episode of Words of Grace, we consider The Divine Perspective of Repentance from Luke chapter 15. Using the well-known parable of the Prodigal Son, this message looks beyond repentance as merely a human act and focuses instead on God’s response when His children return to Him.

Jesus’ parables of the lost sheep, the lost coin, and finally the lost son reveal a consistent truth: the value is placed by the owner, the recovery is initiated by the owner, and the rejoicing belongs to the owner. Whether repentance follows a dramatic fall, a “respectable” sin, or a slow spiritual drift, heaven responds with joy when sinners repent.

This broadcast reminds us that the Father’s house is still open, His mercy is real, and His grace is greater than our sin!

It’s All About Christ!

Everything about the Christian faith centers on one glorious truth — it’s all about Christ. From creation to redemption, from our new birth to our eternal home, all things are of Him, through Him, and to Him.

In this edition of Words of Grace, we feature a recent sermon from the pulpit of Flint River Primitive Baptist Church, reminding us that our greatest identity isn’t found in any earthly title or role, but in belonging to Jesus. Every blessing of salvation — being chosen, redeemed, and made new — is found in Christ.

Join us as we lift our eyes to the One for whom all things exist and in whom every believer finds purpose and peace.
