We Trust in God, Part 1

How do God’s people respond when life becomes difficult? When trials come unexpectedly, when fear threatens to overwhelm us, and when circumstances seem beyond our control, Scripture continually calls us to place our confidence in the Lord.

In this message from Flint River Primitive Baptist Church, Elder Ben Winslett begins a study on trusting God in the midst of life’s afflictions. Drawing from the account of Jesus and His disciples on the Sea of Galilee, we consider Peter’s walk upon the water, the danger of taking our eyes off Christ, and the gracious way our Savior rescues His people when their faith falters.

This message also concludes a recent series on the resurrection, suffering, and the hope that God’s children possess through Jesus Christ. As believers, we are reminded that while troubles are inevitable in this world, God remains sovereign, faithful, and worthy of our trust.

Mourning and Miracles, Part 2

In specific, our focus is on the miracles that He performed and His sovereign power over creation.

In today’s broadcast, we share the first half of a message from Matthew chapter 14 and our Lord Jesus’ response to the death of John the Baptist, which was to go to God in solitude and pray.
